Find Peace

I don't know about you, but I don't tend to see a lot of “peaceful streams” in the world. Our culture seems to worship busyness- running from one activity to the next, dealing with drama after drama, and going to sleep just to wake up and start it all again. Our minds are wired to focus on problems. Life makes it hard to be still.

God is standing separate from all that chaos ready to be our shepherd. When was the last time you felt the rest of lying down in a green meadow? Or the refreshment of walking beside a peaceful stream? Being with nature is rejuvenating, but we truly find renewal in time spent with God allowing Him to be in charge. In the midst of our busy days, be still and allow Him to bring rest to your soul.
