What qualities do we most admire in others? In today’s culture, we often celebrate traits like ambition, confidence, intelligence, and boldness. While those are valuable, God calls us to something deeper: to clothe ourselves with tenderhearted mercy, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience—attributes that reflect His heart.
These qualities carry no risk of harm to others; instead, they bless everyone around us. They are the evidence of God’s character shining through us.
So how are we actively displaying these traits in our daily lives? Are we stepping in to help someone in need? Are we choosing to support others quietly instead of seeking recognition? Are we extending grace and forgiveness, even when it’s hard?
Every single day, God does these things for us. And we have the extraordinary privilege of being His hands and feet in the world—what an honor! Let’s ask Him to make us more aware of opportunities to embody His love and share His nature with those He’s placed in our path.
