Confidence is a consistent topic of conversation - and we see people's confidence (or lack thereof) play out in their lives on a daily basis.

I have to constantly reevaluate- where does my confidence lie? In myself? In my money or circumstances? I’m my relationships? In my job? All of those things can and do fail.

The most unshakable confidence is only found in God.

Do I have confidence that He is who He says He is? That He will do what He says He will do? That salvation is our everlasting promise? Even when it’s tempting, I have to choose to hold onto my confidence in Him. He is the only one I can always go to without fear that He will fail or fall.

The reward for this confidence is beyond measure. Not in money or things which will fade away, but in the everlasting promise that we have been saved, and His every thought towards us is good.

That is a confidence that can and will shine through to everyone around us.
