Value Others

I’ve always wanted to add value to others, but if I’m honest with myself, in the past I’ve been a total brat about it. 😝 I used to think that in order to add value, I needed to come into peoples lives as a superior or person in a position of authority. That I could come in, take charge, and make everything better. Then I was surprised when people weren’t adoring fans. 🤦🏻‍♀️

The truth of the matter is that I needed to shift my thinking. Over time I’ve learned that we are better together. Each persons unique contribution adds value. And when I focus on highlighting and appreciating what each person brings to the table we all go further.

At the end of the day, my true value is going to lie in how I help each person I encounter be their best selves. How I maximize everyone’s strengths and draw out the power of the individual. Then I can truly add value - by helping others see how truly valuable THEY are, and how they can change the world.

Today I want to be that kind of person...the kind that shows everyone how amazingly unique, needed, and appreciated they are. Who wants to join me?
